BIO ACADEMY 2016
Bio Academy是由哈佛医学院遗传学教授George Church指导的合成生物学项目（Synthetic Biology Program）。
Bio Academy是如何种植（几乎）任何东西课程或Academany的一部分。（http://academany.org/）
Academany采用的是独特的分布式教育模式。每一个参与到Academany program的Lab都是全球Fab Lab/ Academany网络的一部分。这些Labs都是能够提供Academany program的教学点。
学生每周三（美国）东部标准时间9:00am-12:00pm观看及参与全球视频直播。课程会被录制下来以供学生整个学期观看记录。除了课程，每周有2-3天的Lab days，学生可以通过lab里的设备及指导人员帮助完成项目。每个Lab都将会确立Lab days的时间安排表。
此课程项目要求每周至少30小时的时间投入。
Academany导师团，都是各自领域的领导者，提供全球视频讲座，监督学术内容，并指导研究。在Lab的操作指导有专门监督及评价的导师，导师会发展及宣传教材并协助指导项目。
Bio Academy2015年开始，今年的课程现在正式发布启动。

BIO ACADEMY 2016
Bio Academy is a Synthetic Biology Programdirected by George Church, professor of Genetics at Harvard medical school.
The Bio Academy is a part of the growingAcademy of (almost) Anything, or the Academany.
BIO ACADEMY
The Academany is a distributed educationalmodel providing a unique educational experience. Each Lab that participates inthe Academany program is part of a global Fab Lab / Academany network. TheseLabs are Nodes that offer the Academany program.
Students view and participate in globallectures broadcasted every Wednesdays at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm EST. The lecturesare recorded and available to students throughout the semester. In addition tothe lectures, there are 2 / 3 lab days each week where students have access thelab equipment and personal help with projects. Each Lab will establish theschedule for these Lab days.
The program requires a minimum of 30 hoursper week.
Academany faculty, who are leaders in theirrespective fields, provide global video lectures, supervise academic content,and guide research. Hands-on instruction in the labs is provided by instructorswho supervise and evaluate Certificates, develop and disseminate instructionalmaterial, and assist with projects.
Bio Academy ran in an Alpha year in 2015,and is now launching officially in 2016. Scroll down to sign up, or get moreinformation.

Student’s Application process for BioAcademy:
Fill out the online application form (theone below)
The local tutor will contact you to have apersonal interview (in-person or via skype).
Bio Academy Coordination will contact youto let you know the results of the process.
Once you receive the confirmation letter,you must make a deposit of 3500 USD/€ to secure your place, before the programstarts
Tuition fees.
Academany Diploma ………………… 5000,- USD.
Included in the costs:
• All the basic course materials.
• 14 hours a week of hands-on Lab access and personal instruction.
